You make the decisions that matter.
- You select from approved and pre-screened adoptive parents
Every family we work with has gone through extensive medical, financial, social, and criminal background checks. We even visit their homes and neighborhoods to make sure your baby has an environment that is safe and loving.
Our screening process is so thorough that you can actually choose the exact type of parent you want for your child. Do you want the adoptive parents to have college degrees? Easily done. Is having extended family important? We can help you find the perfect match. Would you prefer a family that is active in the outdoors and takes annual vacations? Just ask.
- You choose the type of relationship you want with the adoptive parents
Open – With Open adoption, information about the adoptive parents and the birth parents is shared with each other and in some cases there is an on-going relationship.
Semi-Open – This is a combination of the traditional Closed adoption and the more progressive Open adoption. Information is shared but rather than having direct contact, adoptive and birth parents work through Graceful Adoptions.
Closed – With a Closed adoption there is no identifying information shared and no contact between adoptive and birth parents before, during or after placement. However, medical history and non-identifying family history is still shared with the adoptive parents.
